Alison Bown is a video game, film and audio book sound designer. She holds a PhD in cognition, metaphor and the sonic aspects of mental imagery. Current research is into the spatial aspects of composition.
She is also an electronic music nerd and an avid student of biomechanics and The Franklin Method of metaphors.
She was nominated for a SOVA award for best sound design and engineering for her work on Audibles production of Far Cry. She is currently working with movement, music and metaphor, studying the Franklin Method of movement.
